Energy Efficiency

My woman says ‘is there anyone on TV you don’t hate?’ and I have to think hard about it; the reason is every simple – at least to me – that the world is all about fabrication and spin-doctoring, nary an honest person exists and when we see them, they are an aberration.

Corporations – who control government – have successfully been plundering peoples incomes with more and more crap we need to be happy / show we have arrived / keep ahead of the Jones’s; pushing us ever more deeply into our future incomes to buy stuff we ‘need’ now.

Well the gig is up; all the spin doctoring and bullshit can only go so far, when the tank is empty, the credit card maxed and job prospects poor, us (the greater unwashed and down-trodden) are pulling our heads in.

Corporate government really doesn’t listen to the people; politicians by and large believe their rhetoric and the voting public’s gullibility to believe everything they say. Strange as it may seem, I was happy to read about the Queensland Liberal National Party Opposition Leader John-Paul Langbroek being caught out; photogenic and well dressed and pushing forward his claim as an alternative premier, he came unstuck doing what Labor’s Anna Bligh and her comrades (and why do they spell labour like the Americans ?) has been doing for years, bare-faced lying, misappropiation and down-right deciet.

Malcolm Turnbull is trying to prove what most already know, our illustrious bi-lingual leader (Captain kRudd) is a liar as is Wayne Swan; Malcolm we already know mate, but its his turn on the swing and you have to just keeping pushing. Your party had its chance with another consummate manipulator and liar, Little Jonnie Howard.

But something is happening, the kid’s gloves each political party has given the other to protect their own rorts has a new player; it’s people power and although it’s been a hard Nuttal to crack. Anna Bligh will walk the plank not just because she is but a tool (in more ways the one) but they inner sanctum must be protected, the ‘queen bee’ of the Labor hive (extracting the sweet things for themselves) must live on.

Corruption and nepotism thrive in politics, with the richest breeding grounds being Labor, one has but to look at Mike Kaiser, now one of the highest paid public servants in Queensland and before that for disgraced NSW Premier Morris Immea; do we believe Labor’s jobs for the boys is honest?
