Rudd Floods Economy Burning Australia to the Ground

February 13th, 2009 · 4 Comments

Japan went into recession almost 20 years ago and threw billions of liquidity into the economic fire; America, Europe and the UK are doing the same and in a classic ‘monkey see, monkey do’, Rudd is on his high-horse espousing a similar doctrine which does what has always done, put money into corporate profit.

But its not just the Victorian fires burning on all fronts, its our very way of life that is going up in smoke as we now start to pay for our excesses of the present and the immediate past; somewhere there was a tipping point, where we crossed the line – namely over population – and every species on plant and animal matter and everything in between will eventually pay the ultimate price so that a select few can live a life of opulence.

What is doubly annoying is that unlike Bush and Howard (who poo-poohed global warming), Rudd (who is purported to be a Mensa member) just goes to prove that stupid is as stupid does; that IQ as a measure does not translate into EQ, that the essential smarts one needs to survive more than some political manoeuvring that might sit you at the table, but not put food on the table.

Global warming is on us and even the sceptics see cause and effect, however, in air-conditioned board-rooms – where profit is the only consideration and ‘environment friendly’ jargon is now part of the vernacular used the in spin-doctoring – life must go on, while all Rome burns. Does Kevin Rudd believe in what he said he believes is he just another consummate liar ?  As a fellow Queenslander, I had high hopes, but not any longer; Howard set us on the path and Rudd is just part of the tag-team to bring more of the same … we are in for much pain.

The heatwave preceding the ‘perfect fire-storm’ weather put many aged and some young into hospitals and eventually the morgue; now that the fire is progressing and we can but only shake our heads, to my cynical mind – as politicians hide behind reasons why a warning system discussed for many years prior has still not been implemented – the number of eventual fatalities touted as high as 300, will eventually be used as a reverse psychology as though it could have been worse, but ‘we’ saved the day.

The Red Cross keeps the media focused on ‘every $ collected will go to the victims’, no doubt as they have proven in the past – world wide – to misappropriate funds to other causes. The money has hit $63 million (actually collected) with a potential $75 million and they are (according to the news Friday 13th) paying $10,000 to immediate families; so if there are 181 deaths, that’s $1.8 million, what is happening to the rest; I’d wager serious money that the banks will pay no interest on these funds (unless it hits the news) but they will certainly ‘use’ the money to make money.

And what about Queensland … 62% flooded and a diaster zone ?  Heatwaves of in southern Australia of 40+C for days, topping 48C on the Saturday of the firestorm. And what is Rudds answer, borrow more money to throw after the money and opportunity lost, where will we be by the end of his and Swan’s end of term; what of the fire-storms and flooding around the world ? The oil countries are tightening the valves to drive prices up, why aren’t we doing the same ? And Nick Xenophon showing up the Greens Bob Brown with a real focus on the plight of the Murray Darling river system, the real life blood of at least 40% of the Australian population and Rudd wants to buy us off with less than a $1,000 ???

Rudds pathetic façade of climate policy no longer makes any sense as literally hundreds of Australian’s are dying from extreme weather. The $42 billion ‘stimulus package’ is a buy-off, a deal to pacify the middle class (as it is designed not to help the lower income families) and the donations prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the average Aussie cares more for his ‘mate’ than for money. So is it Rudd’s ego or the people who are really important in this stimulus package; at the risk of questioning his family ethics, but if one of his kids has a problem, does he say, ‘look here’s $900, will that solve your problem for now ?’

Malcolm Turnbull is a shoo-in for the next federal election (but will he really want it ?) as Rudd remains inflexible. So how many more tragedies will occur under Rudd’s command  and how will he handle them, like some backroom political deal while selling the country up ?   Too hard to answer … just send me your bank account details and I’ll send you some money for alcohol or another gift to take your mind off things ….

G’day ‘School kid’, you and I are pretty much the same, we know what we like and don’t like; if its coffee flavoured ice cream or if it goes under the name of Krudd … I just despise people who pretend to be part of the solution but realy are the problem. I’m well balanced, I hate everyone equally that tells porkie pies (lies) and our illustrious leader is a consumate Liar who continually gets caught out .. if he was half as smart as we are told he is / he thinks he is, then you’d think he’d just stop lying …

Yeh, I help with you assignment as long as I get some of the Credits (you know that at least one sixth of a our land mass is 8 metres or more beloe sea level and as global warming raises sea levels, the beaches as we know them will be gone (the Great Barrier Reef is gone but for some token colouring) so I’d recommend buying some ‘high ground’ around Lake Eyre as that will be the ‘holiday spot’ of the future.

As the sea levels do rise, fresh water tables will be contaminated and vegetables onlt mix with salty water when they cook, before that, salt water kills most vegetation and thats pretty much what every species we eat, eats …

Flooding helps reinvigorate lower lying land unless some peanut has built a dam over the land or intends to … you know farmers in the Murray Darling have been told they cannot expect water allocations (to grow food) so the South Australians can get the water for industry and to flush their toilets … and you know what they say’if you don’t eat, you don’t shit and if you don;t shit you die (let alone need to flush that toilet) … floods are to remind people that they are dick-heads for building on low lying land !

Of course I know a lot and so do you, you see its logic that wins the day, everything works under the same principles .. thermodynamics or cause and effect or for every action there is a reaction …

Remember one thing … it is your world that is looming; I’m having a crack at the wankers runing the show and you need to as well … ask questions, don’t settle for near enough answers, tell people you prefer to hear the truth so you can act accordingly, you will be surprised how empowering it will be for you (as well as them) to encourage others to tell the truth …

every day is the first day of the rest of your life, live true to yourself and respect the Planet (that gives everything life and all things are equally important …)

“Arghhhh….the sky is falling, the sky is falling…run away!”

What scares me more, people believing this guff or our “leaders” using the fear to sell us out to Global Government? Pretty much a tie, actually. Either way, both are insane, and the actions of both are criminal, fascistic and despotic, which I (and hundreds like me) will resist as strenuously as we are able.

“Of course I know a lot and so do you” – you wanker. The world is not going to drown, Daniel Boone, and man’s puny activities have not done any damage. Stop infecting our youth with this insane fear-mongering. You live in your fantasy/paranoia, and leave me to get on with life in mine, okay. Just don’t try and force your insane world view on me and mine… you might get a surprise when we fight back. KRudd sure will.

Chom Fa, your writing style is somewhat dyslexic like mine … but I will attempt to address your observations.

Well yes, the sky is falling, but there is nowhere to run; no community on Mars or the Moon or anywhere else for that matter … in the short, medium or long term (read ever).

People paying to be smuggled is fraught with danger, yet refugees look to start a new / better life elsewhere other than over populated, polluted and ‘policed’ country’s of their origin; whatever the regime (religious, corporate, dictator / democratic or ‘royalty’), the oppressed remain the oppressed.

I can appreciate you are scared, but what guff are you referring to specifically ? I fully understand your suggestion of a ‘global government’, they already exist, corporations in collusion with politicians (the united nations and international monetary fund), the stalled GATS, criminal elements and religion all compete for the $ of the working man

People resisting is one of the main reasons these ‘master race / world domination’ plans don’t work; centralised power is the process where a few try to control many (more spoils for fewer people); however, god bless greed … de-centralisation appears to be the only thing that ‘works’; local people making decisions for local people. Of course there are hundreds of people who will resist in all manner of ways, but it’s a numbers game.

I assume by your name you are Chinese and point out how your forebears most likely pushed other cultures out of the way to survive (Tibet immediately comes to mind), but doesn’t matter what culture, race or religion, there are always the oppressed. So by all means, resist strenuously … start your won Blog, articulate what you point of view is and raise awareness.

    “Of course I know a lot and so do you” – you wanker’;
Choom you need to do something a hell of a lot more productive and proactive than just call me a wanker; is that your best shot ? The world is going to drown Choom, in a sea of pollution and the most virulent pestilence on the planet at present is humans; we are eradicating species crucial to the balance of all life and we obliterate anything in out path.

Your insistence that I am infecting our youth with insane fear-mongering is the same sort of mentality of ignorant people, be they your average teenager, red-neck or self-righteous religious fanatic (from whatever the spectrum).

It is you who lives in a fantasy world and if reading posts like mine shake the very foundations of your belief’s of wanting the good life to continue, then good. So who is ‘you and yours’ … Captain kRudd and second mate Choom … and how will you fight back when you don’t even comprehend what the fight is about ? I look forward to your attempt to surprise me and will take some consolation in the fact that I got you off your arse to at least write …
